As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens, caring people are compelled to do everything possible to alleviate the suffering and bring about a just peace.
This is why we are excited to announce that federal taxpayers of Mendocino County have joined together with taxpayers from other Northern California counties to file a CLASS ACTION lawsuit against Reps. Jared Huffman and Mike Thompson!
Their ongoing votes to continue funding the genocide in Palestine are not only unconscionable but also illegal under both U.S. and International Law. They are making us all complicit in genocide, and they should be held legally accountable.
We will file the suit in federal court on December 10th (just three weeks away!), coinciding with International Human Rights Day.
Action items for you:

Requirements to sign on:
- You must be a resident of either Huffman or Thompson’s districts.
- You must have filed federal income tax in 2023 and intend to do so in 2024. (Please note: You can sign up even if you had federal taxes deducted from your paycheck but didn’t make enough money to file!)
Important: Being a member of the class requires nothing from you other than having your name on the court records. We have class action representatives—local folks who will speak in court and to the press, representing taxpayers’ deep concerns about our complicity in this genocide.
